About The Position
Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Evening shifts. Conducts a variety of complex and detailed tasks to accomplish the effective, safe reprocessing of reusable devices in SPD, Surgery, and other hospital departments. Cleans, disinfects, assembles, inspects, and sterilizes complex, specialty instruments and equipment for surgical use. Operates Sterile Processing and Operating Room equipment. Requirements
- Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.
- Or Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
Nice To Haves
- Coursework/Training: Training course in Sterile Processing.
- 2 years Instrumentation/sterilization in an acute hospital.
Responsibilities
