Sterile Processing Technician, Nights
About The Position
Baptist Health is looking for a Certified Sterile Processing Technician to support our Surgical Services Teams at Baptist Downtown. This Sterile Processing Technician position will be a Full-Time Nights Shift working, various days, 3-12 hous shifts working from 7pm-7:30am. Up to a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus, if hired!! As a Sterile Processing Technician, your responsibilities include: Assessing, planning and/or delivery of prep & sterile, patient care & environmental requirements Oversee all instrumentation, equipment & supplies for unit Assisting with patient care, computer data entry, materials oversight, anesthesia supply oversight & environmental oversight. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1-2 years Instrument Experience
- 1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience
- Linen Processing Experience
- Knowledge of regulatory protocols.
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). Required Or
- Certification Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) Required Or
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree
