About The Position
The Sterile Processing Technician performs the following tasks: receiving, decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization, storage and distribution of sterile instruments and supplies used throughout the hospital.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- On-the-job training will be provided
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Central Service Technical Training course within one year of employment preferred
- Certification as a Central Service Technician preferred
- Licensed as a Nurse Aide in the State of Nebraska preferred
