About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to support overnight surgical and clinical operations. Responsible for decontamination, assembly, sterilization, storage, and distribution of medical instruments while maintaining strict infection control standards. Must be able to work independently on night shift.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical Terminology and Anatomy & Physiology (coursework or facility exam)
• Minimum 3 years recent SPD experience or active SPD certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong attention to detail, computer skills, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Technician III level candidates preferred with advanced SPD certifications

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, wrap, label, and sterilize instruments
• Operate sterilizers, washer-disinfectors, ultrasonic cleaners, and related equipment
• Select appropriate sterilization methods and document load/testing results
• Store, track, and distribute sterile supplies per preference cards
• Assist with inventory control and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Provide customer-focused support to clinical staff and participate in on-call rotation
