About The Position

This Full Time Sterile Processing Technician position at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance in Torrance, CA, involves working 8-hour night shifts. Requirements

• Successfully completed a recognized Central Service Technician course and keep Continuing Education Units (CEU) updated and on file
• Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
• 2 years' experience in Central Service
• Experience in general office practices and procedures, purchasing practices, business ethics and prudent buyer concepts

Responsibilities

• Process and sterilize equipment and instrumentation
• Issue and receive supplies and equipment according to established procedures
• Maintain an accurate inventory to reflect a real-time status
• Receive and respond to all calls for product, equipment and supplies
