Sterile Processing Technician PRN Mountain View Surgery Center Scottsdale is seeking a motivated PRN Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. Job Summary: The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases. Anticipates the needs of the surgical team. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of SPD experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required

Nice To Haves

  • CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
  • some SPD GI experience preferred
  • Experience with ordering preferred
  • Experience with all types of sterilizers
  • Knows operating room instrumentation
  • Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer

Responsibilities
