Sterile Processing Technician at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Night shifts. Requirements

• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire.
• Or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience as SPD tech.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, preparation and sterilization of instruments, trays and equipment.
• Operating departmental machinery.
• Receiving, labeling, stocking and delivery of supplies and equipment.
• Operating a computer, answering phones and filling orders.
• Cleaning and sanitizing of work surfaces and storage areas.
