We’re currently seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to join our Surgery Department at our Ontario location. Position Overview Performs and participates in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, scanning, sterilization, storage and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment. Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent
CRCST Certification - Certified Registered Central Service Technician or obtained within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of medical terminology
Experience cleaning and sterilizing instruments
Previous experience working in a healthcare facility working in the Sterile Prep Department.

Responsibilities

Performs and participates in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, scanning, sterilization, storage and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
