Job Overview The Sterile Processing Technician provides assistance in Central Supply and the Surgical are for infant, preschool, school age and young adult (up to age 21) patients. Shrines Spokane is looking for a PRN Sterile Processing Technician to join the team. The pay range for this position is $20.18-$30.27/hourly.

Requirements

  • 1 year working with surgical instruments
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Central Supply Processing Department Technician (CSPDT)

Responsibilities

  • The Sterile Processing Tech shall be knowledgeable and implement the decontamination, preparing and sterilization of surgical supplies and equipment.
  • Assembles case carts containing consumable supplies and instrumentation.
  • Cleans/decontaminates surgical instruments.
  • Identifies and assembles multiple types of surgical instruments and instrument sets.
  • Inspects instruments, replaces or send for repairs.
