About The Position
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the proper inventory, decontamination, assembly, inspection, packaging, sterilization, storage, distribution, and tracking of surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment within the hospital. This role requires certification and involves working independently with minimal supervision while also serving as a resource for Central Processing customers. The technician must adhere to hospital policies and maintain safety standards while ensuring the quality and timeliness of service.
