About The Position

Lake Regional Health System is seeking dedicated, professional Sterile Processing Tech to join our Central Sterile team who can provide personalized, high-quality care to our community. Our Surgical Techs have an opportunity to grow their skills through in house training and development. Joining our Lake Regional Health System team means working alongside our knowledgeable, dedicated team of people who care for our patients and one another.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Central Service Processing Technician Certification (CRCST) or Certified Scrub Technician (CST), or willingness to become certified within 2 years.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Critical thinking abilities and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wash, disinfect, and process all instruments, equipment, and supplies in accordance with approved policies.
• Participate in a collaborative care approach and actively engage in the perioperative UBC to ensure cohesive patient care.
