Prepares, packages and sterilizes all reusable medical supplies and linens used by Providence Health System, Everett. Responsibilities

  • Prepares, packages and sterilizes all reusable medical supplies and linens.
  • Collects, cleans, disinfects, inspects and sterilizes surgical instruments and other medical equipment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited sterile processing program.
  • National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire.
  • National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.
  • Completion of Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist training program or similar Central Services, Surgery or patient care work.
