About The Position

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a full time Sterile Processing Technician or Sterile Processing Trainee for the Sterile Processing department. The Sterile Processing Technician collects, cleans, decontaminates, disinfects and/or sterilizes surgical instruments, trays and packs, reusable medical devices and patient care equipment according to established standards and procedures to ensure sterile and functioning supply of materials and equipment. The Sterile Processing Trainee is a trainee position. Incumbents will be engaged in trainee duties that may lead to the full performance level of a Sterile Processing Technician. Schedule for this position is 3:00pm-11:30pm. Starting annual salary for the Sterile Processing Technician Trainee position is $40,237. Starting annual salary for the Sterile Processing Technician position is $44,396.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from IAHCSMM or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) from CBSPD, or equivalent certification from a nationally accredited central service technician credentialing organization recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Nice To Haves
