The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for decontaminating, assembling, and inspecting equipment and instruments. This role involves accurately operating sterilizers and performing biological and integrator testing while maintaining record-keeping systems under the direct supervision and guidance of the Supervisor. The technician also rotates and restocks sterile supplies in accordance with infection control standards to ensure a safe and reliable atmosphere for patient care.
