About The Position

Central Sterile Supply Technician (CERT) position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA This is a full-time, Dyas shift position Reports to the Director of Surgical Services and/or designee. Area of responsibility to include Decontamination, Prep and Pack, tray assembly, sterilization and other duties as assigned. Must have a thorough knowledge of aseptic techniques and procedures, sterilization techniques and procedures, infection control and work flow principles and requirements: demonstrates and exercises responsible judgment to provide necessary supplies and equipment for patient care. The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Requirements

Knowledge of procedure policies and regulations concerning sterile techniques preferred.
One year experience in Central Supply preferred.
Sterile Processing Certification or Certified Surgical Technologist Certification required.
Current BCLS (CPR) required.
