About The Position

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, and handling of all reusable equipment and instruments, as well as the preparation of all sterile supplies. This role includes the preparation and delivery of case carts and sterile supplies to the Operating Room, Outpatient Center, and East Campus. Additionally, the technician will cover Material Service for supplies during non-staff hours.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak, and write the English language.
• Must follow oral and written directions.
• Previous experience or 1 year hospital experience preferred.
• On the job training.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of all sterile supplies.
