About The Position
Sterile Processing Tech 40 Hours Weekly, Full Time, Second Shift (2:00pm-10:30pm) Baptist Health LaGrange Sterile Processing Department is seeking to hire a full time, Central Supply Tech. The Tech is an individual with decontamination sterilization knowledge and abilities, who provides a continuum of sterile instruments and supplies to Surgical Services and other in-house departments as needed. By supporting the nursing staff and aiding in the coordination of care, the Central Supply Tech assists in the fulfillment of the department mission to provide 24 hour quality surgical care.
Requirements
- HSPA/IAHSMM Certification obtained within 12 months of employment
Nice To Haves
- Two years recent CPD experience preferred
- HSPA Certification Preferred
