About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY Decontaminates, cleans and sterilizes equipment, instruments and supplies. Assembles and maintains inventories of surgical and floor trays. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Experience in sterile processing or as a surgical technician
- Credentialed as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician
- Must be certified within one (1) year from date of hire or transfer into position.
