About The Position

Worcester Surgical Center is seeking a motivated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. Our fast paced ASC is committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. Sign-on bonus eligible: Up to $2,500 Job Summary The Sterile Processing Technician maintains all surgical instrumentation & scopes, sets up supplies for surgical cases. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Computer skills required
  • Knows operating room instrumentation.
  • Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
  • Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
  • Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
  • Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians

Nice To Haves

  • CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
  • experience in SPD and scope processing highly preferred
