About The Position
Sterile Processing Tech Destin Surgery Center is hiring a Sterile Processing Tech, Full Time Welcome to Destin Surgery Center: At Center Destin Surgery Center we believe health and care are inseparable. Our technology allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of: ENT, General Surgery. Gastroenterology (GI), Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, Spine. Sterile Processing Tech at Destin Surgery Center The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
- Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
- Experience with all types of sterilizers
- Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
