About The Position

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care by making sure every instrument is thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready when needed. Your focus on safety and attention to detail helps protect patients and empowers a team that's committed to the care and improvement of human life - one surgery at a time.

Requirements

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) REQUIRED.
• Two years previous current related experience, or successful completion of accredited education program with Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated functions in compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
• Perform procedures related to decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation for Surgical Services and Nursing units.
• Review sterilization records and prepare reports as assigned.
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Surgical Services team.
• Have accountability for delivering quality services and for promoting a positive image of the department.
