Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Will be required to stand and walk all of the scheduled shifts.
• The occasional pushing/lifting of up to 46 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Hiring for full and part time openings and for various shifts.
• Responsible for cleaning, disinfection, preparation, processing and distribution of sterile and non-sterile medical supplies and equipment.
• Performs technical details according to written policies and procedures.
• Maintains expertise in all aspects of area activities.
• Monitors quality activities and the physical environment.
• Participates in continuous improvement processes.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
