The Central Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for proper decontamination, inspection, sterilization and processing of all instrumentation/equipment according to manufacturer's instructions for use. Requirements

High School Diploma
CPR
1+ years of experience as a sterile processing technician
Knowledge of AAMI & AORN standards and recommendations
Clear understanding of sterilization process
Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an accredited central sterile processing tech program
Certified CSPD technician
Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital experience
Experience as a surgical technologist
