About The Position

We are seeking a Per Diem Certified Sterile Processing Technician to support our Sterile Processing Department. This flexible role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, committed to patient safety, and able to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment. The technician will be responsible for the cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and trays. Job Description Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays. Rotate through shifts based on department needs, including coverage for call-outs and weekends. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with infection control standards. Collaborate with Operating Room and other clinical teams to ensure timely instrument availability. Identify and report damaged equipment or inventory shortages. Participate in quality control and improvement initiatives.
