Are you a meticulous leader with a passion for precision and patient safety? We're searching for an exceptional Sterile Processing Supervisor to champion our department's critical role in hospital operations. You'll be the driving force behind effective Endoscope reprocessing and hospital-wide high-level disinfection, ensuring the absolute highest standards of sterility for every instrument and piece of equipment. You'll lead, mentor, and empower a dedicated team, overseeing all personnel functions and fostering a culture of excellence. From meticulously managing inventory and budgets to upholding stringent quality assurance protocols and JCAHO standards, you'll be key to preventing infection and safeguarding patient well-being. Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 3 years experience as an instrument technician, surgical technician, and/or Central Supply technician
• Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Tech (CSPDT) or Certified and Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience
• Basic computer skills including MS Office Suites

Responsibilities

• Supervises all assigned staff to meet the needs of patients and their families.
• Performs personnel-related functions (hiring, terminating, disciplining, training, etc.).
• Ensures staffing is appropriate.
• Submits performance assessments to Director for approval prior to due date.
• Evaluates work performance of staff and makes recommendations for merit increases, promotions and disciplinary actions.
• Holds regular staff meetings to maintain open communication within the department.
• Counsels employees and implements disciplinary action as necessary according to severity of infraction utilizing organization personnel policies.
• Prepares work schedules, assigns personnel, evaluates work performance and makes recommendations for personnel action.
