About The Position

The Sterile Processing Liaison has elevated knowledge in the SPD arena. Serves as direct link to the surgical staff providing customer service.

Requirements

• High School Grad or Equiv
• 2+ Work Experience Required
• Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) OR Certified Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)

Nice To Haves

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Preferred
• Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) Preferred

Responsibilities

• Communicates with Operating Room leadership and staff on a daily basis regarding instruments supply, specific needs and/or issues.
• Reports Operating Room issues/complaints to Sterile Processing Manager/Supervisor for follow-up.
• Resolves issues or offers alternatives when necessary.
• Coordinates cases with Circulator /Operating Room team.
