The Sterile Processing Instrument Management Coordinator reports to the Manager of Sterile processing. Directs the overall activities of the instrument tracking system and provides dedicated comprehensive technical support and consistent software, reporting, and analytics to SPD Management. Takes lead in implementing and maintaining the instrument tracking system. Acts as a liaison between the instrument tracking system provider, staff, facility information systems, and contracted software vendor. This position is also responsible for the proper inventory, procurement, repair, replacement of all instrumentation for all sterile processing areas.
