Sterile Processing Coordinator at White Fence Surgical Suites The Sterile Processing Coordinator provides professional nursing care through assessment, planning, treatment and evaluation of the patient. The SPD Coordinator is responsible for delivering safe, knowledgeable, compassionate, educative and individualized nursing care to patients and families.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required.
Computer skills, required.
CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
1-2 years experience as Instrument Room Technician preferred.
Experience with all types of sterilizers.
Knows operating room instrumentation.
Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required.
Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed.
Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
