About The Position

Assembling, wrapping, packaging and sterilization of all reusable items in the Medical Center. Accurately prepares all case carts for Surgery in a timely manner. Responsible for ensuring that the standards for AAMI/CMS are maintained to keep patient safe. Works to improve process and throughput. Works under the direction of Sterile Processing Manager and Surgical Services Director.

Requirements

• High School Diploma - Required
• Competent in all areas for SPD as determined by manager/director within 12 months of hire (for hires on or after 10/1/2024)- required
