About The Position

As the Central Sterile Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining competent care delivery to patients in our perioperative settings. Our team works together like a family, and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role: You will assemble all necessary equipment and supplies to meet patient and surgeon needs. You will use microbiology, instrumentation, and hand cleaning techniques for equipment and machines. You will print an appropriate doctor's preference list, assemble case carts, and fill in requisitions. You will display team spirit by assisting with special project assignments. You will be responsible for operating sterilizers, aerators, and their monitoring cleaning.

Requirements

Successful completion of a program for operating room preferred.
CRCST certification required within 1 year of hire date.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with knowledge of medical supplies is highly preferred.
Prior experience is not required but is preferred.
