In the Sterile Equipment Tech Lead role you will: Perform routine tasks relating to the decontamination, processing, sterilization and distribution of instruments, equipment and sterile supplies. Be responsible for general operating and monitoring of sterilization, maintaining records in compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards. Maintain certification, monitors and instructs certified and non-certified personnel. Communicate with departments and staff throughout the day to maintain a smooth work-flow. Assure daily task assignments are completed. May be requested to assume responsibility in the absence of the Supervisor and/or Manager. Be involve with training in competency of tasks performed by the staff and participates in hospital wide educational projects.
