Stepdown - Burn Unit

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a dedicated Stepdown Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to assess, evaluate, plan, implement, and coordinate treatment plans that achieve the goals of the nursing department. As a key member of the interdependent healthcare team, you will be responsible for monitoring critical vital signs, detecting changes, and intervening in life-threatening situations. You will respond to Code Blue situations, manage patient flow, provide general nursing care, and instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining and reviewing patient records, administering medications as per physician orders, and ensuring that necessary supplies are available in patient rooms.
