About The Position
The Student Training Experience Program is partnering with UMR students, who will be participating in a research experience for up to two consecutive semesters at The Hormel Institute. It is strongly encouraged for students to participate in this program for two semesters. The Student Training Experience Program will allow students to apply knowledge learned through coursework while gaining practical experience within the research field. Students will be provided with various opportunities to help them gain real biomedical research experience, enhance professional development and increase their understanding and appreciation for the research and science profession. This position is eligible for work study. Schedule: Up to 15 hours per week or a total of 130 hours. Aligned with University of Minnesota, Rochester academic calendar.
