About The Position
We are North Shore Medical Center. Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician directed care and RN supervision. We service a multitude of patients and their families across our vast network, while remaining committed to the professional development of our staff, the functional improvement of our patients, and the cultivation of strong partnerships within our communities. Job Summary The delivery of quality care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation/re-assessment. The provision of direct and indirect patient care in the IMCU/Step-down unit. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, can perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.
Requirements
- Florida State License
- Associate Degree or BSN
- Two or more years of medical/surgical experience preferred
- Basic computer knowledge
- Current State (FL) Registered Nurse Licensure
- ACLS and BLS certification
- Must be able to pass Background and Drug Test screenings.
