About The Position

Mad Science is looking for STEM Workshop Instructors to conduct engaging and interactive classroom instruction on various scientific topics Mad Science is a powerhouse brand with locations around the globe! For over 35 years, we have sparked imaginative learning through our summer camps, birthday parties, in-class workshops, after-school programs, and special events for kids ages 3-12. Become part of our team and help us inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. Our locations are always looking for part-time instructors and full-time office staff.

Requirements

Applicants must have experience teaching children in a classroom or camp environment
Be friendly, flexible, dynamic and passionate about supporting children’s learning.
Must be available M-F between 830a-130p.
Must have a reliable transportation that is not public or ride share
All employees will be fingerprinted for criminal background checks and TB tested (required)
Some college
Have a fun & outgoing personality

Responsibilities

Facilitating a one-hour in-classroom science enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum. Each session is a high-energy, part entertainment, part education, hands-on class
Picking up/dropping off and maintaining equipment
