About The Position

Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant positions available in the College of Science STEM Grants. Start Date Positions available on or after February 9, 2025 and ending on or before May 31, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance. Job Description/Duties Duties include but are not limited to: Assist with delivery of support services offered through the grant, assist with data input, support workshops offered through the grant. Offer peer to peer guidance and support to STEM transfer students. Visit local community colleges and facilitate workshops and outreach activities. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrates great communication and leadership skills.
• Maintains at least 3.0 overall GPA.
• A Math and/or a Science student.
• Transfer student from community college preferred.
