STEM Summer Camp Instructor
About The Position
Mad Science of Bay Area is seeking additional Mad Scientists for Summer Camp Programs for school-age kids in and around the Bay Area! Must have a fun personality and a strong desire to work with children. Perfect for students looking for a real classroom experience. No science background is required- we will provide training! Our summer programs are 3 hours to 6 hour-long sessions, with the morning session /afternoon sessions and full day sessions. Summer programs are held at various schools, parks, and recreational facilities around the Bay Area. Some programs may be held outside. Mad Science is a powerhouse brand with locations around the globe! For over 35 years, we have sparked imaginative learning through our summer camps, birthday parties, in-class workshops, after-school programs, and special events for kids ages 3-12. Become part of our team and help us inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. Our locations are always looking for part-time instructors and full-time office staff.
Requirements
- A desire to learn and work with children in grades K-8
- Reliable transportation
- Light lifting
- All appropriate clearances (TB test, background check)
