STEM Student Assistant - SUMMER 4 PALS
About The Position
Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant positions in the College of Science, STEM Grant. Start Date Positions available on or after April 6 and ending on or before May 31, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance. Job Description/Duties Duties include but are not limited to: Assist with implementation of activities for the students during the summer program by participating in peer mentor training and two week summer program. Support recruitment and planning for the STEM 4 PALS summer program for incoming freshman students in June 2026. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrates enrollment as an upper division student majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Math, or Computer Science with at least a 3.0 GPA.
