About The Position
The STEM Learning Specialist at Rice University is a newly created position aimed at providing comprehensive academic support services for undergraduate students enrolled in STEM courses. This role is part of a broader initiative to enhance student success and equity in academic outcomes. The specialist will work closely with the Director of the Office of Academic Support for Undergraduate Students (OASUS) to develop and implement individual consultations, group instruction, and discipline-specific programming, while also having the opportunity to engage with faculty and potentially teach a credit-bearing course.
