About The Position

2025/2026 Multiple Penn State Brandywine professors across various STEM disciplines are seeking Penn State students to work as Course Assistants. Job Duties Typical job duties may include, but are not limited to: Assist with grading assignments, answering questions, and holding office hours. Peer mentoring and tutoring. Engineering Lab assistant, preparing labs. Transcribe/caption lectures, videos, and/or other recordings for ADA compliance. Other duties as assigned by the instructor. Requirements and Qualifications In order to assist certain Academic Departments, such as Math, Engineering and Physics, students must have successfully completed two semesters in the course subject (and received a B grade or better). Student openings in Academic Affairs offer wonderful professional growth opportunities and allow you to make connections, develop professional skills and competencies, and add valuable employment experience to your resume.
