About The Position

The K-8 Mathematics, Science, and Technology Curriculum Supervisor is responsible for program improvement, curriculum development, instructional leadership, and high-quality professional development across the subject areas of Math, Science, Technology, Arts, and Physical Education/Wellness. The Supervisor will also oversee other curricular areas, in conjunction with the K-8 Literacy and Humanities Curriculum Supervisor, and Teaching and Learning team as determined by the Superintendent based upon programmatic needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Elementary or Secondary Education or a related field of Education.
• Master's Degree in Science, Mathematics, or Technology or related field.
• Successful comprehensive experience in instructional leadership and coaching, design and implementation of impactful professional development, implementation of strategic curricular improvements based on instructional practices and analysis of student assessment data, and proven track record of supporting and enhancing the instructional expertise of teachers.
• CT certification in Intermediate Administration and Supervision, endorsement code (#092)
• CT certification in one STEM area
