About The Position

Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 5-14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way – by playing and building video games they love. Kids have a blast and can’t wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving as they progress from white to black belt. Our core promise is: ‘Kids have fun, parents see results.’ We are looking for STEM and Coding Instructors at our Castle Rock location to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward-thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our instructors (Senseis) are the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas center. This individual helps oversee day-to-day coaching and student engagement. Are you experienced in working with children? Requirements

Leadership skills : demonstrated ability to supervise, organize, or lead within work groups, clubs, teams, etc.
Looking for individuals who seek ways to contribute rather than waiting to be told.
Coding and technology skills : knowledgeable about, or willingness to learn, introductory concepts in JavaScript, C#, and Unity.
Education/childcare experience : demonstrated experience with children ages 5-14 in babysitting, childcare, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, etc.
Looking for individuals that can work patiently with children of differing learning styles and abilities, including neurodivergent learners.
Works well with others; enjoys collaboration and teamwork.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be fun to work with and enjoy fast-paced environments where requirements can change frequently.

Nice To Haves

Skills in AI, Minecraft, Roblox, robotics, or 3D printing a plus!

Responsibilities

Coach and mentor kids in coding and STEM curriculum, including robotics, AI, JavaScript, C#, Unity, block-based languages, Minecraft, and more.
Complete training courses for our proprietary curriculum.
Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow.
Provide feedback to parents on student progress.
Perform extra duties as needed, including organizing, cleaning, and maintaining center equipment and facilities.
Clean classroom and bathrooms throughout the day to ensure cleanliness.
Report as needed to Center Director or lead instructor with respect to day’s activities, efficiency & productivity in classroom.
