Our certified and highly-skilled teams specialize in structural steel design, engineering, detailing, fabrication, erection and retrofit to existing structural members. The Painter/Load is responsible for painting and preparing structural steel and assisting with loading and unloading steel from trucks as required.

Requirements

  • Must have experience with overhead crane.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisors.
  • Works in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift schedule as well as overtime and Saturdays as needed.
  • Basic math skills are required.
  • Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environment.
  • Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours.
  • Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience painting and using paint sprayers to apply paint is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prep and paint structural steel.
  • Operate forklift as needed.
  • Perform rigging work to move materials as requires.
  • Load and unload steel from trucks.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the fabrication shop.
