Rock F orce is currently hiring, on-demand Steel Hands for live events in your area. Applicants with experience in live events production are preferred but all interested candidates are encouraged to apply. Job Summary: This position is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, set up, operation, dismantling and strike of equipment and supplies needed for live events (i.e. concert production, theatrical productions, special events, etc.). Such equipment often includes scaffolding and decking. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team under tight deadlines.

Requirements

Previous experience in live event production or stagehand work preferred.
Familiarity with scaffolding structures and stage builds preferred.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (50+ lbs).
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in live event production.

Nice To Haves

Experience with steel and scaffolding structures.
Forklift certification.
Basic knowledge of stage plots and production schedules.

Responsibilities

Event Setup & Breakdown: Assist in loading and unloading trucks with stage equipment.
Assemble and disassemble staging and scaffolding structures
Ensure all cables, rigging, and power sources are safely and securely installed.
Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and equipment handling.
Ensure compliance with venue regulations and industry standards.
Identify and report any faulty equipment or safety hazards.
