Steel Fabricator / Shop Location / Lead
About The Position
Seeking a shop lead/fabricator. Lead role duties include prioritizing projects, project layout, fabrication to meet delivery & installation schedules. This job requires strong welding, layout, time management skills. Mechanical knowledge & experience working with various tools, reading prints. Knowledge of automated pipe plasma cutter is a plus. Requirements
- Read prints
- Proficient in handrail layout
- Efficiently prioritize projects
- Must be able to communicate with detailers & project managers
- Efficient in MIG welding, grinding
- Experience with forklifts
- Must possess basic math skills for accuracy and quality
- Operate basic equipment
