About The Position

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) is accepting applications for a STEAM Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The STEAM Teacher position is open to all current qualified FUESD certificated employees with a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience and a clear teaching credential. Develop and implement formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning and growth in STEAM competencies, and use data to inform instructional decisions. Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to inquiry-based learning, experimentation, and exploration in STEAM subjects. Foster positive relationships with parents, families, and the broader community to promote awareness of STEAM education and advocate for its importance in preparing students for future success. STEAM Teacher position is a 1-year assignment, aligned with LCAP.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver lessons that align with curriculum standards and objectives, utilizing a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Oversee the management of STEAM-related materials, equipment, and resources, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and community partners to enhance STEAM education initiatives and promote student success.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with emerging trends and best practices in STEAM education.
  • Inspire curiosity, innovation, and a passion for lifelong learning in students through engaging and enriching educational experiences.
  • Instruction, inquiry lessons, and assessments aligned to "CAST".
