Administration of Human Resource Programs

The position involves providing intervention support to students and assisting colleagues in implementing curriculum and instruction at the building level. The role includes managing, analyzing, and reviewing the school's data and STEAM program to ensure effective instruction and improve students' critical thinking, reading, language arts, writing, math, problem-solving, and communication skills. The individual will work closely with the Principal to order materials and supplies that support instruction, professional development, and parent involvement, while adhering to deadlines.

  • Provides intervention support to students.
  • Assists and supports colleagues in the implementation of curriculum and instruction at the building level by sharing proven instructional strategies and materials.
  • Works to manage, analyze and review the school's data and STEAM program to ensure effective instruction.
  • Improves students' critical thinking, reading, language arts, writing, math, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates and models exemplary classroom STEAM practices.
  • Provides leadership for STEAM implementation across the school community.
  • Helps strengthen family and school ties by engaging families in STEAM.
  • Participates in monthly meetings with the building principal.
  • Helps to monitor inventory.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Five (5) years of effective classroom teaching experience.
  • Above average ability to communicate and work well with others.
  • Thorough and complete knowledge of Indiana Academic Science, Math and Reading/Language Arts Standards.
  • Proven leadership ability.
  • An explicit understanding of effective STEAM curriculum and instructional practices.
  • Knowledge of the collaborative instructional model.
  • Participates in required professional development during the school year and summer.
  • Appropriate Licensing.
  • Problem/Project-Based Learning.
  • Knowledge of 5e Model.
  • Previous Coaching Experience.
  • Coaching for Results.
  • Best practices in STEAM.
  • Input, analyzing, organizing and reporting.
