About The Position

As a Steam Generator ECT/Repair Shift & Task Lead at Framatome, you will support inspection and maintenance activities, leveraging your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team. This full-time reduced position (32 hours) is based in Lynchburg, VA, with remote work options considered. Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, refurbishing, and maintaining equipment, instructing training and executing activities related to the Steam Generator Eddy Current/Tubes Repair task, and leading and motivating others to ensure timely completion of activities with zero safety issues. You will also maintain and develop procedures, participate in project planning and execution, assist in scope and schedule proposal preparation, and comply with all applicable safety and health rules. The position requires up to 75% travel and unescorted nuclear site access.

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • At least 6 years of related experience
  • Robot operation experience in Steam Generator Component (SGR-RAN100 - Ranger Operator) or equivalent
  • HSFL (High Stakes Field Leadership) preferred
  • Ability to comprehend instructions, policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Certification Eddy Current Level 1
  • Functional/Technician Skills (Inspection robotics)
  • Good written/verbal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of commonly used tools and equipment

Responsibilities

  • Planning, preparing, refurbishing / maintaining of equipment
  • Instructing training and executing activities related to the Steam Generator Eddy Current / Tubes Repair task
  • Leading / Motivating others and ensuring all activities are completed on time, with zero safety issues
  • Maintaining and/or developing procedures, problem reports, field schedules, and task close-out reports as needed
  • Participating in planning and executing projects
  • Assisting in preparation of scope & schedule proposal
  • Providing input to training materials and conducting training as needed
  • Complying with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance
  • Working flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service
  • Traveling extensively to a variety of regional and remote job sites
