The position involves receiving beverage orders from guests, preparing and serving food and beverages in accordance with established service standards, and providing excellent customer service to our fine dining guests. The role requires maintaining a clean, safe, hazard-free environment and adhering to health and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain RAMP alcoholic certification.
  • Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for eight hours.
  • Repeated bending and lifting.
  • Must be able to lift and carry small and large trays and/or bus tubs weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle or seek assistance for all types of guest related situations.
  • Shift assignments may be irregular, covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to pass all Training and Tests associated with job.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Receive beverage orders from guests.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards.
  • Refill, set/reset, stock, clear and clean dishes, glassware, silverware, linens, condiments, beverages, napkin holders and all other related supplies.
  • Create and ensure a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
  • Promote positive co-worker and guest interactions, maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Demonstrate a courteous, friendly, polite, and congenial attitude.
  • Relay guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Adhere to established company and departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times.
  • Maintain company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Greet and take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into computer system.
  • Prepare food orders, set trays, and transport food & beverage items to food service areas.
  • Responsible for setting tables including proper dressing, napkins, silverware, tabletop condiments, ice buckets, etc.
  • Maintain breakdown area.
  • Complete all established set-up, stocking and closing duties on time.
  • Clear, clean and reset tables according to procedures.
  • Perform all related, compatible, and miscellaneous duties as assigned by leadership.
