About The Position

This position is part-time, requiring 10 hours per week, with a personal fundraising requirement of $9-10k annually. The salary range is between $7600 and $9400 per year, depending on education and experience. The role involves various ministry functions including spiritual development, leadership development, resource development, direct ministry, and ministry support. Employees are expected to adhere to Young Life's policies and maintain professionalism in all aspects of their work.

Requirements

• Pursuing a college degree.
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Develop a yearly personal growth plan that fosters a vibrant spiritual life including time for solitude, retreat, reflection, prayer, and a sincere commitment to understanding God’s Word.
• Seek and maintain relationships and disciplines in the context of active participation in a church community.
• Actively participate in the spiritual life of the Young Life community.
• Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
• Meet with volunteer leaders and area leadership on a regular basis.
• Recruit and train new leaders to build a leadership team that reflects the community.
• Model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners, and camping to other leaders.
• Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
• Communicate ministry updates and progress to personal donor partners.
• Actively engage in contact work, club, Campaigners, and camp.
• Participate in leadership with a team to conduct a Young Life club and Campaigners/discipleship ministry with excellence.
• Assist in office administration when necessary and assigned.
• Complete expense reports as necessary in a clear and timely fashion.
